Female WD Twit pic is up! - Page 3

The mask suck's. The one in gameplay movie was much better.|||Please tell me it looks unbelievably garish and fugly just because of the lightning? Other WD armors waived between good and poor, but this is just taking it to another level.|||Haha, i seriously thought this was a joke, partly because the thread wasn't made by Flux. Do i care much about the awkward clown colors? Nah, any bit of Diablo grit and grain has long been flushed through the proverbial toilet, Blizzard clearly wants WoW players to feel just at home in Sanctuary.|||Wouldn't pick a witch doctor based on appearance.

The necromancer had some sick armors in comparison to these.|||Well, Necromancer was a baller in every way. It's a little unfair to compare the WD to him.|||Wow... just... so underwhelming...

IMO this looks freakin horrible. This is supposed to be a gothic fantasy game? I mean I like colors and the rest of the game doesn't bother me that much, but this... oh my lord...

This isn't even cool or interesting... the brightness of it just makes it look like a halloween costume. I mean, not everything has to be deep reds and greys, but green and red together? Seriously?

And the mask, I can't even explain in words how LAME it is...

I better stop ranting before I use some expletives xD|||For those of you complaining about the bright, garish colors, and the stylized nature of the mask...

Do you even get the point and theme of this character? This character is using inspiration with tribal masks and things like that. A lot of these tribal masks, and tribal/aboriginal art in general looks a lot like this stuff! They like to use bright colors, stylized shapes and representations. This represents the character's theme! How can you have a Witch Doctor without tribal masks and bright, garish tribal ceremonial dress?

It's not 'gothic'. Sanctuary hasn't been especially 'gothic' since D2. D1 was all set in the very gothic area of Tristram's cathedral, and D2 branched out.

Doppel, quit trolling with your WoW comments, as well. I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt before in other threads, but now you're just being ridiculously inflammatory just to get a rise out of people.|||Quote:

I totally get the point, but still...they could just make that cultural stuff look more gothic in a game called DIABLO 3!

Perhaps the colors are the same but not so bright...a little dirt on the character would be nice...she is supposed to be fighting demons from hell...

But being honest...i also think that blizzard wants WoW guys to feel good in the world of sanctuary and at this point im willing to share the place.

But i always wantet the more black, gothic and colorless diablo 2 feeling.

If the current diablo had that, it would be the greatest game evah!|||Feel free to think it. It's completely false.

Diablo 2 was far from black and colorless. Neon blues, greens and yellows don't count as black.|||Quote:

Uh, Diablo 2 was REALLY colorful. I don't know which Diablo 2 you were playing, but Diablo 2 has bright, colorful environments and characters EVERYWHERE. It's hardly 'black' or 'colorless'. Hell, D2 wasn't gothic either. THe only area that was gothic at all was Act 1. All the rest was doing something else.

Act 2 was bright everywhere aboveground and the undergrounds were kinda half cartoony egyptian pyramids and tunnel type affairs.

Act 3 was bright green all over, with some non-gothic architecture in the dungeons.

Act 4 was just fire and brimstone. Red everywhere.

Act 5 was more washed out, color-wise, but it was more scandinavian in flavor than gothic.

What Diablo 2 were you playing here?
