A sick but fitting idea for minion heal

It makes sense for a minion oriented character such as the Doc to have a minion healing spell. Instead of going for the generic cast-spell-heal-all, i propose the WD throws out pinkish grey brains onto the ground which would then be devoured by the undead pets : mongrels, gargantuan, Z charger in gruesomely nauseating manner - healing them.

would add some flair for sure .. and yea this was inspired by Bashiok's hippocampus post|||Hi!

I'm not convinced that there eaven would be a summon healing skill. They are ment to be expendable. You heal them by using Sacrifice and summoning a new one.

PS: and yes, i know it's not a smart thing to do to blow up low hp z-dogs, but it's a point why most likely there won't be any healing spells that target summons.|||Quote:

mhmm i feel that way too. We dont know a whole lot about the Doctors minions or how they work i.e life, defence, damage, most importantly cost. Would the mana required to heal your minions be worth spending, if you can just pull another badboy out of the ground?

As cool as litering the ground with brains sounds, i dont know if healing your minions would be practical..

The only way it would be worth it is if our el Doctor had like a super minion? He would have to be durable, and cost a fair amount of mana to cast. Thay way, it would be worth keeping him alive. But even then, stopping in the middle of a fight to indulge in brains wouldnt be that awesome(strategically).

Idk, i dont think were gana see minion healing in d3, much for the same reason it wasnt in d2. Unless, instead of player contrled skill, its some kind of passive skill that allows your minions to eat corpses and gain health after every battle? the amount gained could be +x% of the bodies original health or something..|||Quote:

The Witch Doctor has a summon called the Gargantuan which does sound somewhat like a tank.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I can certainly see this as a passive skill that raises the undead minion's hit points by X points per corpse per level (rather than % original health).
