Item Set Previews Male WD

http://forums.battle.net/thread.html...23953&sid=3000

Every Tues/Thurs before Blizzcon, they're going to post some armor set models. Male witch doctor looks pretty cool. Although I can't tell if that's his mouth that's open or whether that's the skull's mouth opening. Either way, pretty neat.

|||very cool. thanks for sharing. the set looks great.|||looks like monk fans lose out this time. as for the pic looks good i like it alot. caco my opinion is it is the skull opening but i could be wrong, like you said it is hard to tell. very cool they are doing this, more eye candy is always welcome|||I wonder if they are going to show the same set on each gender or a different set for each.

It looks ok, would need to see a 360 veiw before passing full judgement.|||http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/com...-set-revealed/

[blue]It’s misleading for me to refer to them as sets, actually, although that’s how they’re designed. They’re probably better described as item ‘looks’ or even item tiers. These aren’t specific items with specific names and stats, but rather a tier which can represent any number of names or stats behind them.

It’s the way Diablo II handled it. We’re doing a lot more unique looks though. [/blue]|||I like it, fits the WD well to me...

I'll be expecting the Wizard ones though, will see how Blizz handles their magi look...|||Bit confused about why they're not going to preview a Monk set :/|||I like the WD but I think those items look dumb. Like the stuff for him shown before this better.|||Quote:

new restrictions prevent the monk from wearing any armor or weilding any weapons so not much to show there|||Not a big fan of the themed armor thing. I want the equipped armor to somewhat resemble its icon; equipping a set of metal chain mail shouldn't result in my character wearing armor made out of organic material like wood and leaves and stuff.

As for the actual art, it looks all right. Some of the textures look a bit flat when shown this close up, but that won't be very noticable in-game so it doesn't matter.
